£138,200 awarded to 29 organisations across Scotland in November

We are delighted to announce our latest funding recipients, with 29 organisations awarded £138,200 to support their work to prevent and reduce poverty and trauma across Scotland.

As part of the phased re-opening of Our Funds, our Wee Grants and Transport Grants reopened for applications in September, and our Small Grants and Large Grants reopened for applications in October. 

We are also initially taking Small Grant and Large Grant Applications under the Nurturing Relationships theme through an open call, open from 27th November 2024 and closing at 12 noon on 24th January 2025. You can view our guidance and apply here.

The listings below show the first Wee Grants and Transport Grants made under the new structure of our funds. 

£138,200 was awarded to 29 organisations in November 2024, with a success rate of 59%. This is the first awards made under the new structure of Our Funds.

Each of the organisations below demonstrated in their application how their work is contributing to the alleviation of poverty and trauma in Scotland.

Financial Security

Through our Financial Security theme, we want to fund, support, and influence to improve income adequacy, income security, reduce cost-related pressures on finances, and improve financial safety nets for people in financial trouble.

Education Pathways

The ultimate aim of the Education Pathways theme is to help shape an education system that maximises its contribution to wellbeing, is trauma informed with the aim of preventing and reducing poverty in Scotland.

Transport Grants

  • For registered charities with an annual income of between £30,000 and £2 million
  • Funding of between £5,000 and £20,000 per year, for 1-3 years, to contribute towards the costs of transport to support your work.
